Pakistan has seen a recent economic boom in different sectors. Our stock markets have been some of the best performing in the world, and with the addition of the Pak China Economic Corridor (CPEC), the construction industry is set to take pace to new heights. Dost Steels Ltd envisioned to tap into this perspective and give the country the quality of steel bars needed for construction, made locally in Pakistan, by Pakistanis. Therefore, DSL took an initiative to contribute to the steel and construction industry of Pakistan by bringing about modern European technology for manufacturing of rebars. This international seismic standard compliant high strength deformed steel bar are already being used all around the world.

The mill is a state of the art greenfield automatic plant with an initial capacity of 350,000 tons per annum which will produce hot rolled, high tensile, deformed steel bars using THERMEX Bar Quenching process in conformity to international standard like BS 4449-2005, ASTM 706, ASTM 615 and PS1612–2014. The bar diameter will range from 8mm to 40mm and come in lengths of 6 meters and 12 to 16 meters, weighing in bundles of approximately 2 tonnes.

The fully automatic new plant of Dost Steels assures the customers that they are buying the finest steel bars available in the country made only from prime billets fulfilling all the technical specifications of reinforcement bars (rebars). The customers are assured that the quality will always be consistent, in uniform length, ends will be clean cut – all the time – every time.
